This bill will allow county commissioners to impose penalties for the sale, use, storage, or possession of illegal fireworks. Around 90 percent of wildfires in the United States are human caused and illegal fireworks are a common culprit. These wildfires have disastrous impacts on natural areas and wildlife habitat and the pollution effects from the smoke are hazardous to our health.
